Course decription:

Orthodontic treatment plans historically focused solely on how to best fit the teeth together. Today, we have new opportunities. We have new tools at our disposal, and renewed interest in airway, sleep, and the dynamic system that includes the lips, cheeks, tongue, palate, periodontium, and teeth. Why did some malocclusions not turn out as we hoped in the past after orthodontic treatment? How can we treatment plan these patients today? What can we do differently with the young and older patients that come see us as new patients going forward?
