Join us at ACT Dental U for another amazing Friday Master Class with Dr. Stephen Chu, "Implant Risks, Complications, and Solutions in the Esthetic Zone."  You don't want to miss this!

Immediate tooth replacement therapy has become a mainstream treatment modality for single tooth implants in the esthetic zone. The balance between achieving primary stability, implant diameter, and gap distance is a delicate dance yet essential for survival and esthetics. However, esthetic risks and complications exist such as apical socket perforation, loss of labial plate thickness over time, and loss of the interdental papilla due to proximity issues with tooth-to-implant distance following placement.

An inverted body-shift implant design concept as solutions to these challenges will be presented and supported by studies that scientifically support, validates, and reinforces the biologic principles in design that ultimately enhance esthetic outcomes in modern day implantology.

After this presentation, you will:

[1] Understand the implant complications and risks in the esthetic zone

[2] Understand the biology behind circumferential bone volume for long term maintenance to prevent ridge collapse, recession, and papillae loss

[3] Understand the inverted body-shift concept in macro implant design
