Stop what you’re doing. If you’re reading this, it’s a sign you need to take a break! I’ve met so many dentists who work nonstop all day long. They never take a moment to stop, breathe and collect their thoughts. And they need it—those thoughts are scattered all over the place!

You need scheduled breaks throughout the day. Without them, you won’t see opportunities standing right in front of you. You’re more likely to make mistakes and miss out on money. The dentists I work with make anywhere between $400 and $1,000 an hour. They all get the same number of hours, so what’s the difference?

The dentists making $1,000 an hour think better. And to think better, you need a clarity break.

Too many dentists believe cramming their schedules is the key to a profitable practice. It’s okay to have empty space! Think about the most famous paintings, songs, and movies. Successful artists intentionally build empty space into their pieces. Otherwise, the piece would look too busy (just like your schedule).

Recovery isn’t a reward; it’s part of the process.

Okay, I’ll let you get back to work. But before you do, check out this quick two-minute video about how to schedule regular clarity breaks. Remember to practice the pause!
