The Hidden Stat Costing Your Practice Profit - A.P.V.
I loved collecting baseball cards as a kid. It was so cool to see all the different players! Now, I don’t look at the pictures. I’m more curious about the player stats. To be honest, I didn’t really notice them until I got into dentistry.
Just like baseball players, your patients have hidden stats, too. They all have an APV, or annual patient value. You want to collect patients with a high APV!
Look at your roster. Who has the highest APV, and who has the lowest? How can you raise a person’s APV, so you don’t have to market for more patients? The goal is quality over quantity—something that Barrett and I talk about on our podcast (listen to the full episode here).
Data changed the game of baseball. It can also change the game for your practice. Harness the power of APV to build your roster of MVPs—most valuable patients!
