Is Your Dental Team Aligned? The Secret To Perfect Practice Harmony
What do football, volleyball, basketball and dentistry have in common? They’re all team sports!
You and the other dentists are on the same team. You should work together like one! Don’t play favorites. Don’t point fingers when something goes wrong. Don’t follow one colleague and ignore the others. The leadership team shares a common goal, and they align themselves in order to achieve it.
Leadership becomes aligned when they learn to trust each other. They can speak openly and honestly about their concerns without the fear of backlash. Aligned dentists are willing to confront a problem head-on and listen to everyone’s solutions.
When leadership becomes aligned, the whole team becomes aligned. Everyone knows what goal to chase because leadership chose that goal together. Alignment starts at the top, then trickles down into every part of your practice.
It’s not about who you’re following; it’s about what you’re following. A shared vision is the key to alignment!
Do you feel unaligned with other dentists in the office? Sit down with me and Courtney as we discuss alignment strategies in episode #635 of The Best Practices Show.
